Please accept our deepest sympathy at the loss of your special friend.  We too are pet owners and understand how you are feeling.  The following information is provided in the hope of making this time which requires some difficult decisions a bit easier.

Suffield Veterinary Hospital, through Inserv Pet Crematory  in Manchester, offers the following services.

• Euthanasia

• Mass Burial

• Mass Cremation  

• Individual Cremation with Ashes Returned to You 

If you choose the individual cremation, the pet is returned in a decorative tin.  Should you wish to select a different urn, please visit  Quiesco or Kelco for a variety of selections.  Please note, the urn size you select should be based on the weight of your pet.  Each item has a cu. in. associated with it.  The size guideline is 1 lb of body weight = 1 cu. in.  (for example, a pet weighing 50 lbs would require an urn with a  minimum of 50 cu. in.).
